Baby Registry Must-Haves

We all know that a tiny human comes with a long list of things needed before their arrival. As a first-time mom, I had no idea where even to begin and relied on a lot of friends, family members, other influences, and TikTok! Here are a few tips on how we decided to lay out our baby registries and get more bang for our buck when it came to the free gifts.

Baby Registry Creation Tips

  1. Babylist – I had a lot of friends utilize Babylist for the simple fact that you can add products from all sites to this one platform. We could add items we liked from places like Etsy, Gap, and Nike while also linking our Amazon and Target registries so that we only had to share one link with our friends and family. Now a lot of folks just link Amazon and Target items to Babylist, but we decided to create the actual registries and then link them so that we could get as many free gifts/discount codes as possible which I will get into in a second. As an added plus Babylist also provides you with a 15% off registry discount for one-time use on any order.
  2. Amazon – Who doesn’t love and use Amazon on the regular?! Their registry site is quick, easy, and to the point. The majority of our baby must-haves came from our Amazon registry and they hook up with a great discount code and perks as well! If you create an Amazon registry you will receive a free gift of multiple samples from popular baby brands and a 15% completion discount on items marked as “Completion Discount Eligible” by adding to your cart from your registry page (can save up to $300 by using the discount on orders up to a $2000 combined value).
  3. Target – I’m in targét weekly sometimes even twice a week so having a Target registry was a no-brainer. Also another brand with a user-friendly registry system that allows your family and friends to even look up your registry in the story and have an easy shopping experience if needed. Target also gives free gifts as well if you have a registry created by going into the store and letting customer service know and they will provide you with a variety of popular baby products as well. Lastly, a 15% off coupon will also be provided once you are 8 weeks away from your expected due date.

Now that we have gone through a quick run-through of all the registry platforms we used let’s get into the products! Hopefully, these links below can serve as a quick one-stop shop to add all of the items needed for your bundle of joy’s registry (linked our registries in each header for reference):
